Kalimpong, 05th June: A tragic accident occurred late on Tuesday night near Lava in Kalimpong when a vehicle fell 500 feet off the road. The driver, Nitesh Chhetri, lost control of the vehicle, which was carrying four members of the same family.
Reportedly, the accident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including the driver, Binod Chhetri, and his 10-month-old child, residents of Sagres Fikkalay in Kalimpong.
Binod Chhetri’s wife and another child, who were also in the vehicle, sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Kalimpong District Hospital.
