Rajganj, 30th August: On Wednesday, the members of the Trinamool Youth Congress (TMYC) of the Rajganj block joyfully celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandha with the shopkeepers and citizens of Rajganj. The celebration took place in the Ambari-Battala Junction of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj.
According to reports, the festival was publicly celebrated in the area under the initiative of the TMYC of Rajganj. The joyous occasion was observed by tying the sacred thread of Rakhi around the wrists of the common people and the shop owners in the area. Additionally, sweets were distributed among the people in an effort to spread the bond of brotherhood.
The event was celebrated by Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, TMC Block President Arindam Banerjee, TMYC President Tushar Kanti Dutta, Samijudin Ahmed, the Pradhan of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, and others.
