Siliguri, 27th October: The Namasudra and refugee cell of the Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress organized an eye check-up camp at Jhankar More in Ward No. 04 of Siliguri.
The camp commenced at 11 AM and continued until 2 PM, attracting a large number of participants. Among those present were Vijay Chowdhury, the block president of the Namasudra and refugee cell, along with other officials.
Chowdhury reported that many individuals attended the camp for eye examinations, and some were scheduled to undergo free surgeries as well. He expressed the intention to conduct similar camps in the future, emphasizing the party’s commitment to community health initiatives.
