Siliguri, 19th January: The Trinamool Chhatra Parishad carried out ‘Shuddhi Karan’ (purification) at Siliguri Baghajatin Park after Dilip Ghosh’s public meeting concluded, on Tuesday.
As per the report, the entire field and the Rabindra Mancha was purified by sprinkling holy Ganga water.
Nirnaya Roy, president of the Darjeeling District TMCP, said that ‘Suddhi Karan’ was carried out in the premises as BJP is doing politics in God’s name. Roy stated that if more such acts are conducted inside Baghajatin Park in the future, they will be bound to carry out the purification process once again.
