Cooch Behar, 01st March: TMC will send the video footage of the incident at Burirhat in Dinhata to the Governor. District President of Trinamool Abhijit De Bhowmik stated the information in a press conference on Wednesday.
Abhijit De Bhowmik said that the attack in Dinhata was carried out by goons under the leadership of Union Minister of State for Home Nisith Pramanik. Later, the BJP started blaming the attack on the TMC. Stating this, he added that they will send the video footage of the incident to the governor.
However, BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar raised questions as to why the black flag was shown to the minister and also questioned BJP workers’ houses being demolished. Stating this, he added that the Indian Constitution itself states that if one’s attacked then they have the right to defend themselves.
