Rajganj, 23rd February: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sujata Mondal Khan held a public meeting in Rajganj opposing the petrol-diesel price hike and the centre’s anti-people policies, on Tuesday.
After conducting a motorcycle rally from the Takimari char area, the meeting was held at the Lal School Balabari BFP School grounds of Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block.
Addressing the public meeting, Sujata Mondal Khan said that the people of North Bengal have made a huge mistake by voting for BJP in the Lok Sabha polls. She further asserted that times have changed now and the people of Bengal, including the seven assembly constituencies of Jalpaiguri, will help TMC secure 221 plus seats in the upcoming polls.
Jalpaiguri District-in-council president Uttara Barman, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Jalpaiguri District-in-council Education official Devashish Pramanik, Rajganj Block President Laikkhamohan Mohan Roy, and many others were present at the meeting.
