Siliguri, 05th January: Trinamool Congress candidate Ranjan Sil Sharma carried out house-house campaigning in Ward no. 36 by disobeying the guidelines of the State Election Commission.
Incidentally, the State Election Commission issued a directive that not more than five people can conduct door-to-door campaigns. Trinamool candidate Ranjan Sil Sharma campaigned today by disobeying the guidelines. Many activists were spotted without masks.
In this regard, Ranjan Sil Sharma said “We went out to campaign in the morning. I am getting good responses from the people. Since the road is narrow, some enthusiastic people stepped out of their house and joined us. However, everyone was wearing masks. The ones removing their masks have been immediately asked to wear them. ”
