Jalpaiguri, 22nd March: Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy from Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituency has filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections.
During this, District Trinamool President Mahua Gope, SMC Mayor Gautam Deb, State Backward Class and Tribal Development Department Minister Bulu Chik Baraik, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy and others leaders and members were present.
Reportedly, on Friday, Nirmal Chandra Roy along with his supporters reached the District TMC office to file his nomination through a rally. Prior to this, Nirmal Chandra Roy first visited his home and greeted his mother. Subsequently, the candidate reached Jalpaiguri district TMC Party office and headed to the District Magistrate’s office through a rally.
