TMC candidate Gopal Lama campaigns in Siliguri after visiting Hanuman temple

Siliguri, 22nd March: Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate for Darjeeling Lok Sabha Constituency Gopal Lama campaigned in Siliguri after offering prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Mallaguri. It is to be noted that the candidates of various political parties have started campaigns ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2024.


Reportedly, on Friday, Gopal Lama visited the Hanuman temple in Mallaguri. Subsequently, Lama campaigned in Siliguri’s Ward No. 1, 2, 8, 9 and 47 under the leadership of Darjeeling District TMC President Papiya Ghosh, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar and other supporters of the party. During the campaign, all the workers and supporters of the party appealed to the public to support the TMC in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

In this regard, Gopal Lama stated that the campaign was kicked off after offering prayers at the temple. He added that the public have responded with utmost enthusiasm. Further, he stated that with the blessings of ‘Sankatmochan’ the party would win the Darjeeling seat for the first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
