Siliguri, 19th May: After the fruit seller from Siliguri Ward No. 6 area tested COVID-19 positive on Monday, his family members have been kept in a quarantine center. It has been learned that apart from his family members, several other people also live in the same house.
The health department officials, on Tuesday morning, visited the patient’s house and took the other members of the house to the Siliguri District Hospital, where their swabs were collected for COVID-19 testing.
It is to be noted that the two residents from Ward No. 6 and 27 were tested COVID-19 positive on Monday and are currently undergoing treatment at the Matigara hospital.
