Rajganj, 26th March: Sensation prevailed in the area after a three-year-old was seriously injured after being hit by a four-wheeler. After this, angry villagers blocked the road by burning tires. The incident transpired in the Mantadari area of Rajganj.
Reportedly, the said three-year-old kid was going to the shop with his mother in the Mantadari area of Belakoba this evening. While on his way, a high-speed four-wheeler hit the child. Due to this, he was seriously injured. After this, the villagers rescued him in critical condition and rushed him to the nearest hospital.
After the incident, the angry residents first blocked the Belakoba Mantadari road, but later the villagers blocked it by burning tires in the Gajoldoba adjacent to Gate Market. With frequent road accidents on the said road, the locals have demanded to widening of the road. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Ambari Out Post and Milanpalli Out Post reached the spot.
