Fulbari, 27th December: In a horrifying mishap, three vehicles crashed in a row in Jiaganj, along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway, leading to several injuries.
As per details gathered, a government bus was en route from Cooch Behar to Siliguri via the Jiaganj area when a car approached from the opposite direction, causing the bus to abruptly halt on the road. As a result, the four-wheeler also stopped. However, at the moment, a petrol tanker hit the four-wheeler from behind. Consequently, the vehicle collided with the bus.
As a result, the four-wheeler suffered severe damage. Additionally, several passengers on the bus suffered significant injuries. Upon receiving the news, the officers from the NJP police station and the Fulbari highway traffic outpost rushed to the scene. The injured were rescued and transported to a private hospital in Fulbari. The vehicles were taken into custody while the police were investigating the entire incident.
