Naxalbari, 11th December: A horrifying mishap surfaced where three shops were gutted by a massive fire in Murgihati of Naxalbari.
According to reports, fire first engulfed a ‘paan’ shop. Subsequently, the inferno engulfed two other nearby stores. Upon spotting the incident, the locals attempted to douse the fire. Meanwhile, two fire engines from the Naxalbari Fire Department and one engine from Matigara arrived at the spot and took control of the prevailing situation in about 45 minutes. However, the incident left three shops damaged.
Upon receiving the news, Arun Ghosh the Sabhadhipati of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad arrived at the spot and assured to support the victims.
