Siliguri, 12th March: 3 shops were burnt to ashes in a catastrophic fire in Haiderpara Bazar of Ward No. 39 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation, last night.
Upon receiving the news, a fire engine reached the spot and extinguished the fire after more than an hour of effort. The firefighters have primarily assumed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Valuables worth lakhs were destroyed in the incident.
