Siliguri, 20th November: Three minor girls have mysteriously gone missing from Siliguri, leaving their families in deep distress.
According to sources, on Wednesday at around 10:30 a.m., Deepa Roy, Monika Sarkar and Priyanka Shil left home to celebrate a birthday but never returned. All three are 14 years old and students of Kabi Sukanta High School. They are residents of Panchanan Colony in Ward No. 01 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
Local sources reported that two of the girls were last seen on Wednesday afternoon near the Kabi Sukanta School campus. Since then, there has been no trace of them. After searching multiple places without success, the families finally lodged a missing complaint at Pradhan Nagar Police Station.
Based on the complaint, police have begun an investigation and are examining CCTV footage. Families have broken down in tears as the girls remain untraced.
