Siliguri, 16th March: Sensation prevailed after the bodies of three members of the same family along with a suicide note was recovered from a hotel room in Kolkata.
As per the report, Sunit Bansal and his parents Sushil Bansal and Chanda Devi Bansal used to live in an apartment of Siliguri’s Ward No. 40 Pranami Mandir Road area. Around a month and a half ago, Sunit, his parents, wife and their two children travelled to Kolkata for his son’s treatment. On Tuesday, Sunit Bansal, Sushil Bansal and Chanda Devi Bansal were found dead in the hotel room, while his wife and their children are safe.
Upon receiving the news of their demise, the police arrived at the family’s apartment in Siliguri today. The manager of the apartment informed that a few days ago, bank employees had come looking for the Bansal family regarding a loan amount that was still unsettled. After learning that the family was not home, the bank employees left.
While an investigation has been launched into the matter, the Siliguri Police Commissionerate is trying to reach the relatives of the family.
