Rajganj, 27th June: Three people, including the driver, were injured in a road accident that took place on Thursday night along the Sahudangi-Gajoldoba Teesta Canal Road near the Sitaram Temple area.
As per reports, a car travelling at high speed from Gajoldoba towards Sahudangi lost control and veered off the road, plunging into a dense forest.
Following the accident, local residents rushed to the spot and informed Bhorer Alo police station. Police personnel, with the help of locals, rescued the injured and sent them to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for treatment.
The accident vehicle has been recovered, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
