Rajganj, 26th May: Rajganj police apprehended three individuals in possession of 52 counterfeit five hundred rupee notes. The arrest took place in the Bhutkirhat area of Rajganj on Thursday night. The seized counterfeit currency amounted to Rs 26,000.
The accused individuals have been identified as Shahjahan Ali, Animesh Das, and Bimal Sahni. Today, the accused were presented before the Jalpaiguri District Court. The Rajganj police have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
