Siliguri, 07th December: In a significant breakthrough, the Bhakti Nagar police has recovered a stolen scooter within 12 hours since its complaint and arrested three individuals involved. The arrested accused have been identified as Raj Barman, Roni Chhetri and Manav Roy.
According to reports, on Wednesday, a scooter was allegedly stolen from Haider Para area under ward number 40. Following this, the owner of the scooty lodged a written complaint at the Bhakti Nagar police station. Subsequently, the Bhakti Nagar police initiated an investigation based on the complaint.
Following a 12-hour investigation, the accused were successfully arrested and the stolen vehicle was recovered after an interrogation. On Thursday, the criminals were presented in the Jalpaiguri Court for further legal proceedings.
