Siliguri, 22nd August: Based on a written complaint of Borough No. IV officers of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, the Siliguri Police Station under the Siliguri Metropolitan Police on Saturday arrested three people, including a young woman. The arrested accused have been identified as Atindra Majumdar (50), Nawab Roy Choudhary (29) and Aparna Roy Chowdhury (25). All three are residents of the Bhaktinagar police station area.
Reportedly, the Duare Sarkar camp was organized by Borough No. IV of SMC at Jyotsnamayee Girls’ High School in Babu Para. Allegedly, the aforementioned people were charging money to fill the forms of ‘Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme’. Today all the three accused were produced in the Siliguri court.
