Siliguri, 20th October: In a horrifying incident, a man was abducted while he was on his way to the bank to deposit a large amount of cash, on Tuesday. Acting promptly, NJP police arrested three men identified as Ashish Biswas, Shyamal Roy and Sanjay Modak in connection to the incident. The trio was arrested on the very night from Rajganj.
Reportedly, Paritosh Roy employed in Radiant Cash Management Service was on his way to Siliguri from Fulbari to deposit 11 lakh 05 thousand rupees which he had collected from various companies. However, he was allegedly abducted by some miscreants in the Kamrangaguri area.
Following his disappearance, Roy’s brother-in-law Tarun Roy lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. Within 24 hours of the incident, the police launched investigations and rescued Paritosh from the Malbazar Kranti area in an unconscious state. The accused were produced in court today and have been sent to 7 days police remand for further investigation.
