Siliguri, 26th September: In a brazen act of theft, thieves broke into a school in Siliguri late Wednesday night. The incident unfolded at Netaji Girls High School in Subhashpally under Ward No. 19 in Siliguri.
On Thursday morning, the teachers arrived at the primary school and found that the locks on several doors were broken. Subsequently, the high school administration was notified. Upon inspection, they discovered that five rooms, including the principal’s office, the staff room, and various lockers and cabinets were targeted by the thieves. Fortunately, no cash was found on the premises.
The police were informed of the incident, and the officials are currently examining the CCTV footage to identify the culprits and gather more information about the incident. The incident is under further investigation as authorities are trying to ensure the safety of the school environment.
