Fulbari, 11th January: A thief was caught red-handed late Friday night in Amaidighi while attempting to steal tires from a stationary truck at the Fulbari border. The locals managed to apprehend the thief and handed him to the police.
This incident comes amid similar thefts in the Fulbari area, where truck tires and vehicle parts have been stolen. On the night of the robbery, a young man was caught by locals while trying to steal tires from a truck parked in Amaidighi. The residents promptly alerted the NJP police, who arrived and took the thief into custody.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and further action is underway.
