Siliguri, 13th July: In light of the growing number of positive coronavirus cases across the city, a temporary sanitizing tunnel was set up in Bidhan Market on Monday under the initiative of Bidhan Market Vyavasayi Samithi as well as Navachetna Welfare Society. Reportedly, the tunnel will remain installed for two days as of now.
Similar initiatives are also likely to be taken in other crowded markets in the city. Besides, masks were distributed among several people who were caught not wearing mouth masks in public.
