Rajganj, 06th April: Ending weeks of speculation and legal hurdles, TMC candidate Swapna Barman submitted her nomination for the Rajganj Assembly Constituency on Monday. Sources said the delay in filing was due to legal complications, which created uncertainty over her candidature. Overcoming all obstacles at the last moment, she filed her nomination within the stipulated time.
During the nomination, she was accompanied by Jalpaiguri AC TMC candidate Krishna Das, Jalpaiguri District TMC President Mahua Gope, Lakshya Mohan Roy, Bidhan Roy, and others.
Speaking after filing, Swapna Barman said, “I have submitted my nomination today. We will win with a huge margin; now it is just a matter of time.”
