Suryanagar Sporting Club raise COVID-19 awareness in Siliguri

Siliguri, 28th October: The use of masks has reduced ever since the number of COVID-19 cases started to decline. Many people are often spotted stepping out of their houses without mouth masks.


Suryanagar Sporting Club of Dabgram No. 1 took to the streets to raise awareness among the people, on Thursday morning. Their programme commenced from Baghajatin Park in Siliguri.

It is to be noted that after Durga Puja, the number of positive cases has started to rise across the state. The administration is requesting everyone to wear masks. During her North Bengal tour, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged all to wear masks. In view of this, Suryanagar Sporting Club of Dabgram No. 1 carried out an awareness programme.


On behalf of the club, Bedabrata Dutta said that the pandemic is not yet over. Such awareness programmes will be conducted regularly on behalf of the club.
