Siliguri, 08th August: Today marks the second day of Bengal’s weekly lockdown for the month of August. Like other districts in the state, strict lockdown has been imposed in Darjeeling district too.
Police have been conducting various operations across the district. Likewise, Naka checking is being carried out in Sukna since this morning. During the campaign, people and vehicles plying on the road are being questioned by the police. Nevertheless, the roads of Sukna wears a deserted look on 2nd day of Bengal’s bi-weekly lockdown
