Siliguri, 03rd November: The Sukanta Pally Kalibari Committee handed over new clothes to children ahead of the Kali Puja. On Friday, new clothes were distributed to about 250 children on the occasion of the 75th year of the Puja celebration of the Committee.
As per reports, the Kalibari committee initiated the program in collaboration with a voluntary organization. The occasion witnessed the presence of Ward No. 32 Councillor Tapas Chatterjee. Speaking in this regard, the Councillor stated that the distribution program was executed under the joint initiative of a voluntary organization and the Sukanta Pally Kalibari Committee. He added that various social service works will be carried out during the days of the Puja.
