Cooch Behar, 13th January: A fourth-year student of the mechanical department in Cooch Behar Government Engineering College fell to death from the terrace. The deceased has been identified as Bizan Bareek, a resident of Diamond Harbour in the South 24 Parganas district.
According to sources, Bizan suddenly fell from the roof of the Engineering College building, on Sunday evening. He was immediately rushed to the Cooch Behar Medical College-Hospital, where he died after some time.
However, no statement has been received from the Principal of the College, in this regard. Upon receiving the news about the incident, the Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
