Gangarampur, 03rd January: A student died after being hit by a vehicle on Pagliganj Nh-512 in South Dinajpur district. The deceased has been identified as Antar Mandal.
According to sources, the said student was crossing the road when a vehicle ran into him, causing his death on the spot.
The agitated locals staged a protest after the incident. Later, upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
