Siliguri, 28th February: Before the polls, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb inaugurated various developmental projects at 7 educational institutions on Friday.
It was reported the Minister inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of the Shantinagar Primary School. The wall has been constructed at a cost of 11 lakh rupees used from the No. 19 Dabgram Fulbari MLA Development Fund.
Besides, 20 wooden tables and benches, worth 2 lakh 93 thousand rupees were provided to the South Shantinagar Primary School. A new mid-day meal project has been inaugurated at the Ghogomali High School.18 computers were provided to the Suryasen College and 10 lakh rupees were given to the Munshi Premchand Mahavidyalaya for wall painting.
Goutam Deb stated that a total of 7 projects have been inaugurated today. He further stated that 2 parks will be inaugurated in Fulbari in the first week of March and another primary school boundary wall project will be inaugurated at Battala under Ward No. 37.
