Rajganj, 24th March: On March 10, the state government warned the teachers of deducting one day’s salary for joining the strike demanding DA. The government employees went on strike regardless of the warnings.
Today, about 100 teachers and employees of the Nikhilbanga Prathmik Shikshak Samiti responded to the show cause notice by playing Abir and distributing sweets in front of the inspector’s office of Belakoba Primary School, Rajganj.
In this regard, Shubhradev Bhattacharya, co-editor of Rajganj Zonal Committee of Nikhilbanga Prathmik Shikshak Samiti, said that on March 10, they had joined the strike on various demands including DA demand, fair and transparent appointment, equal pay for equal work. He added that the government issued a show cause against all the teachers and thus, in response to it they played abir.
