State Government decides to provide 104 acres of land for the expansion of Bagdogra Airport

The State Government has decided to provide 104 acres of land for the expansion of Bagdogra Airport, for which, the State Government has approved an amount of Rs 25 crore.


Bagdogra airport management is very pleased with the efforts of the State Government. The Director of Bagdogra Airport, Subramanian P, stated that the airport is, currently, second in the field of passenger growth in India. He further stated that, in the future, the airport will excel in other fields as well.

During the event, the Minister of North Bengal Development Department, Rabindra Nath Ghosh, stated that an ambulance was provided to the Bagdogra airport management by the North Bengal Development Department, on Wednesday. He further stated that two more ambulances for the passengers will be provided to the airport management in the future.
