Kharibari, 07th September: Ramdhanjote F Company personnel of 41st Battalion of SSB deployed on Indo-Nepal border arrested a person with a huge quantity of banned cough syrup. The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim.
According to the information, acting on a tip-off, the jawans campaigned in the area and detained a person near Kharibari PWD during the course. Upon searching, 160 bottles of cough syrup of 100 ml were recovered from the said person. The man was immediately taken into custody and was handed over to the Kharibari police station along with the seized articles.
