SPTTA issued a six-point memorandum to the DI demanding job permanency

Siliguri, 21st September: The School Part-Time Teachers’ Association (SPTTA) handed over a six-point memorandum to the DI.

The association members alleged that they have been working as part-time teachers for the past several days. They further complained that despite carrying out all duties amid the ongoing pandemic, they are deprived of all government facilities. They are living in severe crisis at the moment and fear that they might be fired from work at any time.

Hence, multiple demands including job stability and proper allowances were presented through the memorandum.
