Rajganj, 03rd November: In a significant initiative, a special naka checking campaign was launched by the police in Gandar More, on Friday, at the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway (NH), under New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police station.
As per reports, the campaign was initiated prior to the Kali Puja to ensure safety and avoid any untoward incident on the day of the Puja. During this, Partha Sarathi Das, OC of New Jalpaiguri police station, Sandeep Dutta, OC of Ambari Outpost, and Gobind Roy, OC of Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost, were present.
