Solar-powered drinking water reservoir inaugurated in Fulbari to address water crisis

Fulbari, 11th September: A new solar-powered drinking water reservoir has been inaugurated in Fulbari to address the locality’s drinking water issues. The reservoir, installed in the Lakshmi Jote area adjacent to Putimari under Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat, was completed at a cost of approximately ₹3.5 lakh.


The reservoir was inaugurated on Wednesday by Kishore Chandra Roy, the Upa-Pradhan of Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat and a local Panchayat member. The event was also attended by Matin Chandra Roy, the Vice-President of the Dabgram-Fulbari block TMC, and Riazuddin Mohammad, among other prominent figures.

The installation of the solar-powered drinking water reservoir is part of a state government initiative aimed at providing clean and pure drinking water to the rural areas. The new facility is expected to benefit several hundred residents of the Lakshmi Jote area. The local community are overjoyed for finally having access to clean drinking water.
