Siliguri, 08th December: During a press conference on Wednesday, Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb said that SMC is launching a ‘Talk to Chairman’ service with an initiative to strengthen public relations with the citizens. BoA members Ranjan Sarkar and Vivek Vaid were present at the press conference.
Through this platform, citizens can call the chairman directly to inform him about various complaints regarding civic services. Goutam Deb assured that the issues will be resolved as soon as the complaint is received. Meanwhile, the political circles consider this initiative as an “electoral surprise” before the municipal election.
Citizens can directly complain about various issues by calling the number 1800-345-3350. This service will be available every Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
