Siliguri’s Table Tennis Coach Bharati Ghosh urges Mayor for sports development in ‘Talk to Mayor’ Program

Siliguri, 06th May: Siliguri’s esteemed table tennis coach, Bharati Ghosh, participated in the popular ‘Talk to Mayor’ program to advocate for improvements in table tennis infrastructure and the establishment of an international-level cricket stadium in the city. Ghosh also commended Mayor Goutam Deb for initiating the program, which aims to address citizens’ concerns and grievances. While some were sceptical about its success, Mayor Deb has dedicated one hour every Saturday to listening to and resolving people’s issues, earning praise from the city’s residents.


During today’s program, numerous callers voiced their complaints and expressed appreciation for the mayor’s actions. Among them was table tennis coach Bharati Ghosh, who highlighted the need to enhance the quality of table tennis facilities and urged the construction of an international-level cricket stadium.
