Siliguri, 27th September: Richa Ghosh, the wicketkeeper of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, returned home in Siliguri, after winning gold in the Asian Games.
As per reports, on Wednesday, the cricketer landed in the Bagdogra Airport where she was received by a grand welcome arranged by her father. In addition, a large number of sports fans and admirers were present to greet her.
While addressing the media, Richa expressed her joy regarding the victory in the Asian Games especially being among the first to win gold at the game. She stated that, despite a challenging final, the outcome was achieved with confidence. She added that she would focus on domestic cricket in the coming days. Furthermore, Richa emphasized more efforts for the development of cricket in Siliguri.
