Siliguri, 28th October: Amra Sabai Surya Sen Sporting Club has begun preparations for Kali Puja with a traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. The club’s puja is entering its 56th year, with ‘Dhyanroope Maa’ as this year’s special attraction, bringing together the origins of creation and tradition.
According to the organisers, the mandap decoration will reflect a blend of creation and tradition. The idol and mandap will be presented around the concept of ‘Dhyanroope Maa’, which the organisers expect will draw visitors’ attention.
Alongside the puja, the club has planned a range of cultural and social programmes over four days. The club authorities are optimistic about receiving a strong response from visitors this year, as in previous years.
