Siliguri, 03rd June: Due to the nation-wide lockdown, shortage of blood is being witnessed across the state. In this regard, the Siliguri Town Trinamool Chhatra Parishad and Siliguri College of Commerce jointly organized a blood donation camp.
As per the information, 60 units of blood were collected during the camp. Following which, the collected blood has been sent to the blood bank of North Bengal Medical College-Hospital.
State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Ranjan Sarkar, and many others were present during the programme.
