Siliguri, 02nd November: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a statewide protest opposing the killing of BJP youth leader Vijay Shil in Gayeshpur, Nadia.
On Monday, several police stations in the entire state were gheraoed. Apart from protesting in front of Siliguri police station, the BJP officials also staged sit-in protests.
BJP Yuva Morcha Siliguri Organizational district general secretary Vikramaditya Mandal warned of staging larger demonstrations if such incidents do not end.
