Bagdogra, 07th October: Siliguri Police Commissioner C Sudhakar inaugurated the Bagdogra Traffic Park to enhance convenience for pedestrians ahead of the Puja festivities. The inauguration also included the distribution of new clothes.
The park is designed to provide a peaceful space for the community, complete with various sports equipment for public use. The event was attended by Siliguri Metropolitan Police DCP (Traffic) Biswa Chand Thakur, ACP Avishek Majumder, and other officials.
During the inauguration, Commissioner C Sudhakar emphasized that the park has been developed in an area previously used for garbage disposal at Bagdogra Bihar More, highlighting that its construction will greatly benefit the local community.
