Siliguri, 09th December: The much-awaited Siliguri Nattyo Utsob 2024 will kick off on December 13 and run until December 17, as announced by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb at a press conference on Monday.
Siliguri, known not only for its commerce but also as a city of culture, continues to attract large audiences for plays and theatrical performances. The Uttarbanga Sangskritik Parishad will once again organize the annual drama festival, which celebrates the region’s rich cultural heritage.
Mayor Deb shared that several renowned groups, including Naihati Bratyajan Prayojan, Malda Theatre Platform Prayojan, and Rangakarmee Kolkata, will participate in this year’s festival. He emphasized that the event aims to foster greater interest in drama, plays, and theatre among the people of Siliguri.
