Siliguri, 12th November: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh staged a symbolic sit-in protest on Tuesday, raising allegations of deprivation during the Chief Minister’s visit to North Bengal.
On Tuesday afternoon, Ghosh voiced concerns over issues ranging from the illegal occupation of government land to the ongoing troubles related to e-rickshaws.
The protest took place at Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri, where Ghosh, along with local party leaders, criticized the state government’s handling of these matters. He further mentioned taking the protest to Nabanna in the future.
