Siliguri MLA raised allegations of corruption in college admissions during a press meet

Siliguri, 31st October: On Tuesday, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh held a press conference at the Siliguri Journalist Club. During this, the MLA raised allegations of corruption by Trinamool student organization in various colleges of West Bengal, including Siliguri.

As per reports, the MLA claimed that the student organization is charging an additional Rs 250 from each student for admission to the college. He stated that student elections in the college are not being held for a long time. As a result, charging the additional money is not justified.

Additionally, the MLA also raised his voice against the government and the ministers of the state and stated that information is not being provided on the RTI website of the Government of West Bengal. Consequently, the people are unable to get important information related to education conveniently.
