Siliguri, 14th October: On Saturday, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh joined a silent protest against the inauguration of several puja mandaps in the state by the Chief Minister prior to Mahalaya. Notably, a debate erupted in the state regarding the inauguration.
As per reports, the MLA joined the protest at the Mahatma Gandhi More in Siliguri on the occasion of Mahalaya. During the silent protest, several demonstrators, including the MLA, wore black clothes and carried placards.
