Siliguri, 18th February: Siliguri’s Matrisangha Janakalyan Ashram observed the 108th birth anniversary of Gurudev Sudin Kumar Mitra on Wednesday. The event at the ashram premises included puja, offering of arghya, devotional songs, and religious discussion sessions.
Soumik Talukdar, treasurer of the organization, said, “We remain dedicated to serving people throughout the year. Supporting individuals from all sections of society is our primary goal.”
He further announced a new initiative this year: Students aspiring for government jobs and interested in computer education can now receive free computer training at the ashram. In addition, blood donation camps are organized throughout the year, along with free health check-ups. Free book distribution programs for deserving and meritorious students are also conducted regularly, Talukdar added.
