Siliguri, 23rd October: In a noteworthy gesture, the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad presented a tricycle to Ranjit Kumar Das, a resident of Babupara, Naxalbari, who has been bedridden for the past 10 years due to a work-related accident.
Ranjit Kumar Das, who became immobile after the accident, recently reached out to the Sabhadhipati of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad for assistance. In response, a delegation led by the parishad handed him a tricycle on Wednesday to help him regain mobility.
In this regard, Satyanarayan Goswami remarked that the tricycle will significantly improve Ranjit’s ability to move independently in the future. Ranjit expressed his gratitude and happiness upon receiving the much-needed assistance.
